Community Manifesto Workshop

As part of the launch of the 1,000 Fans Bootcamp, t2 are inviting you to create manifestos for your proposed communities. These will consist of you writing an article that outlines your community’s goals, challenges, and ethos. Manifestoes will then be used to call other readers and writers to join your community.

Led by writer and poet Annie Hayter, this workshop will give you the opportunity to consider what sort of a writing community you would like to be part of, and to reflect on the different ways that you might approach crafting your own manifesto. It will be a welcoming environment, where we will contemplate our own personal relationships to writing, figuring out what we might wish to find in a chosen community of writers and kindred spirits.

This workshop is open to people of all levels of experience with writing and is aimed at anyone who is interested in being part of a writing community. At the end of our workshop, there will be an opportunity to share extracts from the work created, if any participants feel inclined to.

Publication-Market Fit Workshop

Discover how to identify your ideal readers and gauge whether you’ve found the right community. Gain insights from writers who’ve successfully navigated this path! The event will be led by Sammi Wei, the co-founder of t2.world, and will feature two amazing guests, MP (Head of Growth at Avara) and Riley (Editor-in-Chief at EIC).

MP is a seasoned crypto native who has consulted on or worked for some of the most prominent projects in the blockchain world throughout her career. For her, like for most Latin Americans, crypto is life-saving technology and essential to survive and thrive by giving back control of systems and finances.

Riley’s journey in writing and editing began at age 10, spanning from high school newspapers to city publications. Her versatile skills have since expanded to online newsletters, zines, and books. With experience across print and digital media, she is now exploring innovative ways to engage readers and support print media using blockchain technology.

Sustainable Community Growth Workshop

Explore how your readers can help you grow and understand the power of the 1,000 True Fans theory. Learn strategies for building a loyal, engaged community. Hosted by our own CEO, Mengyao Han, with three amazing speakers Peter Vecchiarelli, Ornella Vallana, and João F. Silva.

Peter Vecchiarelli is the founder of ETH Investors Club Quarterly, currently working on EIC03, the third issue of our Ethereum-focused periodical. He has been working in the onchain application space for 6 years now, joining Augur, a prediction market platform, back in 2018 and later becoming the Head of Growth at index Coop. He now invests in and advises a number of projects in the space as well.

Ornella Vallana is the Marketing & Community Lead at Bankless Academy, a free and interactive open-source web3 education platform that provides the essential tools and knowledge needed to ‘go bankless’. She champions the idea that everyone, even those from the most diverse fields or skill sets, can learn about web3, discover their Ikigai, and become a BUIDLer in the space.

João F. Silva was born in a small town in Portugal but now lives in Glasgow, Scotland, with his wife and feline co-workers/bosses. His debut novel Seeds of War won the Best Indie Debut of 2023 at the FanFiAddict Awards. His short fiction was published in Grimdark Magazine and Haven Speculative.
